A new style of food for events

SKYCITY Auckland recognised that their ‘pop-up’ restaurants in the Federal Street dining hub have been incredibly popular, so why not apply this model to their catering services. So, they created The Kitchen c/o SKYCITY.

Under Executive Chef Andrew Methven, you might come across his team’s inspired food at high profile events coming up. The creations from their new brand were sampled recently at the Volvo Ocean Race Village in The Heineken Yacht Club and Stoneleigh Bar in the Viaduct and also at Auckland Cup Week. 

The Kitchen also works with Federal Street restaurateurs like Nic Watt, Peter Gordon and Sean Connolly to help design the pop-up menus for these big events. The overall result is that people are getting a much higher level food experience and relishing it.
